10 Days Kenya Private Honeymoon Safari in 4×4 Landcruiser

DAY 1: ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Upon Landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet our airport representative and will pick you and head to your booked Nairobi Hotel. Drop off at Sarova Stanley for your overnight. Refresh and relax as you await your magical honeymoon Kenya private safari.

DAY 2: PICK UP NAIROBI / TRANSFER MERU NATIONAL PARK

Pick up by our driver from Sarova Stanley at 0630hrs, and drive to Meru national park, Murera Gate covering Kms. 348; This semi-arid park is famous for its former home of Joy and George Adamson and Elsa the lioness, views of Mt. Kenya, Rivers and riverine habitats, Tana river, Adamson falls, Grevy’s Zebra, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Leopard, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Hartebeest, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo, different species of birds. You will then drive direct to Elsa’s Kopje Lodge/camp. Enjoy your lunch and relax at the lodge/camp. Afternoon game drive between 4 pm to 6 pm, come back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: MERU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast -Take an early morning walk in the bush or take an extended game drive with a picnic lunch to explore the many rivers transecting the park. The untamed wilderness of Meru National Park is renowned for its Elephant herds, rare northern endemic species with fantastic flora, and changing terrain. Dinner and Overnight at Elsa’s Kopje.

DAY 4: LEAVE MERU NATIONAL PARK / TRANSFER SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Early Morning last game drive in this park to see the sunrise and another Number of wildlife, return to the camp for a full breakfast followed by check out. Enjoy your early buffet breakfast, then have a morning game drive as you exit. Leave Meru National Park driver to Samburu National Park. Upon arrival at Samburu National Reserve check-in at your Lodge, little siesta followed by evening game drive. The reserve is well supplied with water by Ewaso Nyiro River and you will be lucky to spot a uncountable wildlife that comes to drink water from this River. After game driver Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Breakfast at the lodge, your guide will arrange for the picnic lunches, and by 0800am leave for a full day game viewing. Search for the unique species of animals that inhabit in this same reserve such as The gravy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Necked Generuk, and Biesa onyx. There also other animal species that are popular and can be found in the other parks and reserves in Kenya, they include Lion, Lioness, buffalos, Cheetahs, Zebra among others. Break for the Picnic lunch with the reserve and continue up to 1700hrs. Leave the park for an optional activity with the local community either Visit to the Village or for a camel ride. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6: LEAVE SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE / TRANSFER OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY

After breakfast leave Samburu and drive to Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive with a visit to the Ol Pejeta Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000-acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foothills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya. The conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

DAY 7: OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY

Spend the full day until 1500hrs exploring Sweetwaters is a privately owned conservancy, overlooking the peaks of Mount Kenya. The conservancy has a great number of wildlife including all the big five animals (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo) among other games. The conservancy also has a special sanctuary that shelters several rare and endangered species including the black rhino, Grevy's zebra, Jackson's hartebeest, and Chimpanzees. The Chimpanzee sanctuary is the only one in Kenya. It is a home for orphaned and abused chimpanzees, rehabilitating them to help them learn to live by themselves as in their own habitat. Afternoon at 1500hrs, return to your camp to refresh and relax enjoying the hotel amenities. At 1830hrs, be ready for pick up for a night game drive which starts at 1900hrs up to 2100hrs and 2100hrs up to 23hrs. It can get cold on night game drives, so we recommend extra layers for comfort. Clothing should be neutral in color.

DAY 8: LEAVE OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY / TRANSFER ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive then depart from Samburu for Aberdares National Park a 3 hours scenic drive for the Aberdare safari. Arriving in good time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club Hotel and a nature walk within the Club. Afternoon game drive with dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 9: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will proceed for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch break for a whole day trekking where we will be accompanied by an armed ranger. On the way, you may see animals like the elephants, giant forest hog, bush pigs, buffaloes, leopard, and a large variety of antelopes. Later evening, return to your lodge for dinner and Overnight.

DAY 10: LEAVE ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK / TRANSFER AND DROP OFF NAIROBI

After breakfast, you will have a game drive en-route to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi in time for drop off at your Nairobi hotel or Airport.
